Cancer Culture was born from heartbreak, fueled by love, and built on the belief that patients deserve better.

Our founder, Champagne Joy, was a relentless advocate who dedicated her life to raising awareness and funding research for metastatic breast cancer. When complications from treatment took her life, her mission could have ended there. Instead, it became impossible to ignore.

Determined to carry her vision forward, Beth Love and Rachel Burns, both living with breast cancer, transformed grief into action. They refused to accept a world where metastatic breast cancer remains underfunded, misunderstood, and too often overlooked. Together, they built Cancer Culture into a patient-led movement that challenges the status quo, amplifies the voices of those living with the disease, and invests in the research that gives families more time.

Every campaign we launch, every runway we build, every protest we organize, and every dollar we raise is rooted in one promise: we will not stop until research changes outcomes and fewer families lose the people they love.

Cancer Culture isn't just Champagne's legacy. It's proof that one voice can become a movement—and that movement is only getting louder.
