BODY OF RESISTANCE: A Cancer Culture NYFW Fundraiser
This isn’t your typical runway, it’s a rebellion draped in courage and stitched with purpose. Cancer Culture X AnaOno’s New York Fashion Week event is where fashion meets fury, where patient voices echo louder than camera shutters, and where the fight for metastatic breast cancer (MBC) research takes center stage.
Since 2017, we’ve turned the catwalk into a call to action. This year, BODY OF RESISTANCE is more than a show, it’s a protest in heels and lingerie. Our models are MBC patients, survivors, previvors, an thrivers, their bodies tell stories that pink ribbons ignore. Scars are visible. Truths are loud. And every step demands funding, equity, and attention for the lives still on the line.
This is not charity. It’s a declaration. A demonstration. A demand.
